Identity, technology, future
Some materials cover spaces, others help them breathe. Diathonite is born from the meeting of the historic tradition of lime and the extraordinary properties of cork, shaping a material designed for the well-being and beauty of the places we live in.
Applied to walls, floors and ceilings as a continuous, breathable plaster, Diathonite interacts with the architecture: it helps regulate humidity, supports insulation against cold and summer heat, and dampens sound waves to improve acoustic comfort.
Diathonite is the meeting of materials engineering and sensitivity to bio-building; a conscious choice that turns simple masonry into elements of comfort and buildings into places of regeneration.
The result of this blend of experience and vision is a sustainable line of plasters able to ensure well-being in homes and buildings: thermal, acoustic and dehumidifying plasters and screeds that find in the unique qualities of cork their common thread, their identity and the unmistakable marks of originality and differentiation.
